The 10U NJ Bandits USSSA softball team, recently revived via its existing players in Allentown and the surrounding areas and players from the combined Millstone Softball and East Windsor PAL Little League partnership, took the fall by storm, winning three of the five tournaments in which they played.  This “new” iteration of the team only began practicing together at the end of August and in no time it was clear that this team was special. The tournaments were held over various weekends in September and October and consisted of anywhere from 4 to 16 teams. The 12 dedicated players battled their opponents, all while showing the utmost sportsmanship. The Bandits competed in the Play for the Pink, USSSA Glow in the Park, Carteret Craze, Monroe Monster Brawl and USSSA Fall Extravaganza tournaments. They came out on top as champions in all but the Play for the Pink and Monster Brawl, where they were runners up. “I am so proud of the girls and the way they are playing. I would like to thank the coaches, parents and fans for their support. We are looking forward to a very successful spring,” head coach Paul Anthony said, after the winning season.
