Snap Fitness: A Great Workout Close to Home

Snap Fitness owner, Ray Dietrich, was always one for taking chances. So last November, during the pandemic, he bought a gym. When he told his wife about it, she thought he was crazy with what has been going on in the world and how gyms have taken a huge financial hit due to covid. The gym was shut down for six months with no revenue coming in but he didn’t let that discourage him. His whole life, Ray has seen the silver lining in things and has been known to take a gamble here and there.

His passion for working out started when he was 14 years old. He was instantly hooked on developing a muscular body. When he was nineteen, he landed his dream job training people at a Gold’s gym. He loved the training aspects and he loved working with people on proper form and eating healthy. It was while he was working there that he envisioned one day owning his own gym, but he started a family and settled into a 25 year career in the HVAC industry.

Snap Fitness, located in Allentown, is a clean and covid safe place that follows all the covid restrictions. To Ray, cleanliness is always the most important thing in a gym, especially now since he hired more staff to constantly disinfect the gym from top to bottom multiple times a day. The equipment is 6 feet apart and mask wearing is in effect. The gym is now open for 50 percent capacity and is open 24/7, so you can work out whenever it’s convenient for you. All members are supplied their own key card; that means that if you want to work out at 3:00 a.m., go for it.

With over 2000 locations worldwide, month to month memberships with a low monthly price, virtual classes, personal trainers to go one on one with you, and people to show you how to use the equipment when you sign up, you can’t go wrong. You can also do your own workout routine. You even get a free pass to try the gym out before you join.

The gym offers a full line of modernized cardio strength equipment, free weights, and selectorized machines. The goal of the staff is to motivate, encourage and drive their members to success. Ray’s team is there to support and share their wealth and knowledge so that every member reaches their maximum potential and well being.
